Just as there are power places in the world – sacred locations such as Glastonbury, Machu Picchu, and Sedona, that are said to vibrate at a higher frequency and accelerate transformation – there are also power years. These years correspond to the generational cycles that we all share at the same ages: The Saturn Return at 29, Midlife, which peaks at 42, The Chiron Return between 49 and 51, the Second Saturn Return at 58, the Uranus square in our early sixties, and the Uranus conjunction at 84.

These cycles or power years are the great turning points in life and mark a person’s progress from one stage to another. Like a Bar Mitzvah or a high school graduation, these events are meaningful because they are shared by many and are deeply rooted in our culture. At each junction there are challenges, lessons and losses; in this we have no choice. Our freedom lies in how we respond – consciously or unconsciously, with fear or with love.

Understanding these cycles can guide us to living consciously and well. Strung together they tell the story of our life. Ultimately this is the process of becoming whole.

The evening will include:

  • A brief overview of astrology. No prior knowledge of astrology is needed
  • An in-depth explanation of each cycle and how to navigate it – the challenges, rewards, and how to release the potential that lies within. We will discuss examples of famous people and inspirational stories
  • How this year’s astrological influences interact with the generational cycles
  • Questions and sharing with the group
