In our last e-newsletter we talked about soul groups. Most of us have become familiar with this idea through the Cayce work, since the readings describe how Edgar Cayce and some of his family members and associates incarnated together in different eras of time. In many of those incarnations, they were engaged in some aspect of the same work they did in Edgar Cayce’s lifetime—helping people to develop spiritually through their relationships to the Most High and to other people.
It’s interesting to consider who the members of our soul groups may be.
They are not necessarily our family members—although some of them could be.
Edgar Cayce, his wife Gertrude, and his son Hugh Lynn were evidently all part of one soul group.
It doesn’t seem that Cayce’s younger son, Edgar Evans Cayce, was a member of that group—but Cayce’s secretary and stenographer, Gladys Davis, was definitely part of the group.
Not all of the soul group incarnated together in every lifetime. Gertrude Cayce did not incarnate with the soul group during their sojourn in the Holy Land—but the readings said she was helping them in their work from “the other side.”
We Grow Through Relationship
What is clear is that we grow through our interactions in relationships—to God, our higher selves and to others.
Our upcoming Spring events are all about relationships—beginning with the In-Person Social on May 17th at the Moynihan Food Hall. This is our first in-person social since the pandemic began–a welcome opportunity to share with old friends and make new ones.
Our relationships to others do not end with that change we call death—and on June 1st, we present Spirit Art & Mediumship Workshop: Unlock Your Creativity and Connect to Spirit with Richard Stuttle.
You don’t have to be an artist or a medium to take this workshop. It will be an interesting group!—the most international program we’ve ever done. Registrants already include folks from Wales, Scotland, Australia, Croatia, Germany, Canada, Texas, Massachusetts, and of course, New Jersey and New York.
Also coming up in June—we’re delighted to announce a new four-part series of soul-growth experiences with Nanci Deutsch, starting June 5th: Healing Your Heart and Soul. You can register for the whole series at a discount (by 5/29) or register for specific workshops individually. These events will help you work on improving your sense of self-love and self-worth, nurturing your relationships with others, healing ancestral patterns and traumas and healing your own soul.
