Last weekend turned out to be one of the most memorable celebrations in our Center’s history! We welcomed Cayce biographers Sidney & Nancy Kirkpatrick (pictured above, center) as our special guest presenters of True Tales from the Cayce Archives, along with several of our NYC Center luminaries, including founding director Lynne Miceli (above, left) and her husband Peter who drove up from Virginia Beach to help us in “Honoring our Past, Building Our Future, Evolving Our Consciousness.” And, on Sunday, in expressing heartfelt gratitude to our Volunteers!
Thanks to all who made this Anniversary such a heart-centered, uplifting, community-healing celebration!
- Study group facilitators Norman Curtis, Dr. Elyse Curtis, Catherine Outeiral and Paul Dorogoff who shared decades of wisdom from applying the Cayce readings.
- Extraordinary energy healers Anton Baraschi and Peter Goldbeck for sharing their unique healing gifts with all attending, with our Center and with our entire community.
- Staff and key volunteers who supported our efforts: Miranda Rose Gold, Helen Mawn, Anthony Perez, Nya Fleron, Michelle Smith and Katia Meirelles.
- Board colleagues Lynne Miceli, Kev O’Kane and Catherine Outeiral who were instrumental in planning and carrying out these events. And Maureen St. Germain who provided hospitality for the Kirkpatricks.
- And of course, we thank Sidney & Nancy, who were so generous with the time they gave to us, and for donating the cost of taxis and subways during their visit!

Sidney and Nancy shared the most interesting case studies and the astounding ways the Cayce work touched so many lives. It was the perfect presentation for the Anniversary, and the perfect time for us to rediscover Edgar Cayce—the man—and the group around him who made his life-changing work possible.
Sidney talked about the hardships the Cayce family endured in remaining true to the spirit, principles and purposes of the readings and told of how their true friends and supporters rallied around them at critical times, with the highest intent, to keep the work going.
Nancy reminded us that the Cayce readings are filled with timeless and inspirational gems of great relevance to us all… and are of crucial importance to evolving the consciousness of our world today.
More good reasons why we need to be here with a thriving Edgar Cayce Center in midtown NYC!
With our lease running out next Spring and our landlord seeking a huge rent increase, it’s time to rededicate ourselves to manifesting all the resources needed for the Cayce work to transform more and more lives. If you’re a true friend and supporter of the Cayce work… and you can donate now, we gratefully accept! If you can volunteer now, see Volunteers Needed below. Your prayers to create the most evolved version of our Center are always appreciated.
When Sidney & Nancy return to NYC next year, I feel confident that we will welcome them back to an expanded, enriched and enlivened Center!
