We remember Polly Guerin and Bernie Libster
We are saddened to share that Bernie Libster transitioned from this Earth Plane shortly after midnight on Jan. 17. Bernie was 82 and had endured for some time with Parkinson’s and other ailments.
If you ever attended Peter Goldbeck’s gatherings, you’ll remember Bernie as a “regular” at these events.
Bernie was a Reiki Master himself. He also worked for many years as a writer–writing fundraising letters which were often extremely successful. Bernie’s quirky sense of humor was evidently effective in inspiring folks to contribute.
Also a professional story-teller, Bernie shared stories at some of our A.R.E. of NY events as well as in a variety of other venues. Many of his stories were based on his past life regression experiences with Kev O’Kane.
Please keep Bernie and his family in prayer.
We’ve just learned of the passing on Sept. 16, 2021, of Polly Guerin, a longtime A.R.E. of NY supporter, who served on our Board and wrote a column on Sacred Spaces for our newsletter, The Open Door. She was 89.
A post by the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association says Polly was a “Murray Hill Neighborhood Association member since 1993, blogger for more than 25 years, retired professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, board member of the Art Deco Society of NYC…singer with the St. George’s Choral Society and also a board member,
member of The General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen, American Revolution Round Table, The Yeats Society, the Victorian Society, creator of two video productions, author of four textbooks, several blogs, articles and
columns, her books include The Cooper-Hewitt Dynasty of New York, The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of the City of New York: A History and The Dynamics of Color.
