Intuition is, of course, a type of psychic perception—and the Cayce readings tell us psychic ability is a quality of the soul. We all have psychic ability, though many of us were taught to deny it or distrust it.
The Cayce readings associate intuition with the “third eye,” which, in reading 262-20, is equated with the pituitary gland or more precisely “the pituitary forces.” Perhaps Cayce is referring to the whole chakra system, since the Cayce material tells us that each major chakra is connected to one of the endocrine glands, and the pituitary gland (associated with the third eye) is seen as the Master Gland of the system.
Interestingly, that reading seems to affirm the existence of “women’s intuition.” Speaking of the “pituitary forces,” the reading says: “These become…in the feminine body more manifested than ordinarily in the male, in man forces, in that called intuition.” Yet, there were many life readings for men that said they had strong intuitive abilities that could benefit them in their life journey.
In any case, the readings describe a system within our physical/mental/spiritual body which is designed for receiving intuitive or psychic insights.
It seems natural then, that our intuition would be particularly strong when it comes to our own bodies and their needs.
This is where Catharine Allan starts in her new program, Your Intuition’s Role in Healing – An Experiential Exploration (Wed. 10/19)—tapping into and scanning your own body.
She builds on that with exercises to help you develop and trust your clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, and techniques to restore your energy and aura to balance. Details of this exciting new workshop here.
