In the Northern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice occurs when the Sun travels along its northernmost path in the sky. This is the astronomical start of summer in the northern half of the globe—the longest day and shortest night of the year.
Cayce did not mention solstices. However, the Rosicrucians say the summer solstice is the time when physical manifestation on Earth reaches its height—whereas at the winter solstice, a spiritual wave of vitality enters the Earth “to impregnate the dormant seeds in the frozen ground, to give new life to the world.” That new life then comes to material fruition now, in the summer months.
If it’s true that this time is the peak of physical manifestation, it seems like a good time to pay special attention to the needs and the care of our bodies—and of the Earth.
