One of the most challenging emotions to be with is anger. Many people think of it as a negative emotion, when out of balance, causing destruction and chaos. We either internalize it, deny it, or express it without taking responsibility for our contribution in its creation. It is one of the most powerful emotions within a body of expression that can destabilize us to the very core or birth new civilizations. Our responses and reactions to anger can also be inherited and influenced. Inherited through our family lineage and influenced by ancestors beyond the veil who are still mending their own relationship to anger.
In this exploratory class, we will look at anger in a safe setting while exploring our familial stories. We will learn to navigate our own sense of self within a boundary while separating from a learned pattern of anger that we might have inherited or that is possibly influencing us.
We have learned to set boundaries to survive for generations.
We forget that boundaries create identity. Who are you in the midst of your anger?
