It’s a New Year! –and we hope for brighter days ahead. Yet, these are strange and uncertain times.
What will the world of 2022 look like? What are the potential challenges or special opportunities?
Astrologically, 2022 will be a BIG YEAR—as America experiences its first Pluto Return, an unprecedented event! Pluto will enter the sign of freedom-loving Aquarius in 2023, so this year is about preparing for a brand new world; letting go of what holds us back so we can move ahead. Plus, we’ll look at the effects of an eclipse, retrograde planets, and the blessings of fortunate Jupiter in benevolent Pisces.
We’ll also look at 2022 from the numerological perspective, and what major influences will be contributing to our world globally and how that may interact with our numerology as individuals. We’ll explore it as a collective energy and how we might harness it for the year ahead. There will be a brief overview on how you can find your personal year number and how the energy of that number combines with the energy of this year.
Finally, we’ll seek the guidance of the Tarot and higher spiritual sources. What is the higher guidance for us collectively? What are the lessons we learned or are yet to learn? How do we build on them and turn challenges into opportunities and higher understanding?

Virginia Bell – Astrologer and Author
Virginia is a full-time astrologer based in New York City, offering astrology readings for clients since 1995. She has written sun sign horoscope columns for magazines and websites such as Refinery 29, Huffington Post, TV Guide, US Weekly, Die Welt (the German publication), and many others. Penny Hayward – International Medium and Numerologist
Penny is an International Medium, Inspirer and Mentor. Born in Australia, she relocated to England in 1999 and is now based in the north of the UK.
She became a member of the Spiritualists’ National Union in 2010 and holds a Diploma (DSNU) in Mediumship and Teaching. In 2018 she was approved as a Tutor (Instructor) at the prestigious Arthur Findlay College in the UK, and has supported ARE of NY as an instructor for 2 years now.
Penny came to understand that she is a medium and psychic in her early 30s, soon after arriving to the UK. The desire to further develop her psychic and mediumistic abilities led Penny to Spiritualism, which gave her answers to some of her big questions and enabled her to understand that there was more to her than she had imagined.
Knowing that life continues in the spirit world healed Penny and allowed her to go beyond the limitations she had put on herself. Part of Penny’s soul’s calling in this world has always been about empowering others. The event will be hosted and moderated by Lynne Salomon Miceli — one of the founders and the first Director of the New York Edgar Cayce Center. Lynne is currently once again the A.R.E. of NY Virtual Center Director. Besides volunteering with A.R.E. of NY, Lynne worked for many years as a special educator in NYC. She has an M.A. in Special Education and an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology. Lynne lives with her husband and two cats in Norfolk, VA.
If time allows, Lynne will conclude the event with a short meditation and prayer for the world in the New Year.
