This new website and weekly e-newsletter, launched mid-May, are part of a much-needed “Center Rebirth” begun last Fall to renew our presence online and our physical space. Renovating our website and completely overhauling our computer systems is a major accomplishment made possible, in large part, by the generosity of our community and countless volunteer hours.

Like most projects of this nature, it has consumed far more of the modest resources raised than we originally planned. This, along with unexpected repairs and the everyday expenses of running a Center in midtown Manhattan (rent is $6,000 a month), mean we will need your help to carry on the renovation of our physical space. Check out “Our Center is Getting a Makeover” and let Spirit move you to contribute in the way that feels best to you.

This has also been a time of transition for Center leadership and the challenges/opportunities that go with it. So far this year. I’m very pleased with the positive new energies we’ve brought onto the Board and with the quality of volunteers who have answered our calls – you are vital to the Center’s well being. At the same time, we’ve been wrestling with how to handle the day-to-day running of the Center in the way that brings the greatest good to our community. Your heart-centered prayers, support and contributions are welcome as we work these out.

And keep in mind: Today, Independence Day, is a good time to free ourselves from restrictive, less-than-useful thought patterns so that we can lift our consciousness up to catch the vibrations of love, peace and oneness that are transforming our planet.

Cayce often said: “Spirit is the Life, Mind is the Builder, Physical is the Result.” 

A good first step towards inner freedom is to be aware of the Spirit in which we think about and interact with other people. Imagine the results when we build our life around thoughts of love, peace and oneness. We need a healthy Center where we can come together with resources to help us do this inner transformational work. Remember, when you change yourself, you change your world.
