We love all of our animal companions, two legged, four legged, winged, and finned! When one of them is ill, we worry and care for them as much as our human family and friends. We have a wonderful story to share about a special healing by Malcolm Smith.

Rasha is a beautiful, black horse who lives in PA with her owner Lisa Schwarz.

As you probably know, Malcolm Smith is a British Spiritual Healer who has worked with A.R.E. of NY and A.R.E. groups in other U.S. cities for something like 25 years. In addition to doing healing sessions for people, Malcolm has worked on dogs, cats, horses and other beloved companion animals. Semi-retired now, Malcolm no longer travels to the U.S. five times a year–but he still offers remote healing sessions from his home in Yorkshire, U.K. Beautiful Rasha had an accident and was badly injured. As Lisa says, “wire cut through tendons, arteries and bone.”

Sylvia Chappell, a longtime member of the A.R.E. of NY team, gifted Lisa and Rasha with emergency remote healing sessions from Malcolm. Despite the severity of the injury, Rasha was healing remarkably well. But then, as Lisa told us, “during transport to her home barn… we encountered some challenges that resulted in Rasha ripping open her wound again.” Now the vet said Rasha must have a long period of rest and rehabilitation, and had to be kept sedated so she could tolerate the inactivity. The re-injury happened in June–and the vet said Rasha must be kept inactive–until October or November. Lisa was distressed. On June 21st, she wrote to Malcolm: “Rasha is hanging in there, the veterinarian says she is healing well and no worries other than the months and months ahead of continued rehabilitation, and not allowed to be outside with her beloved herd on the land.”

“THAT is driving her crazy and she cannot calm without massive doses of sedation all day every day, which I do worry what that is doing to her spirit. But it is needed and I imagine that your work did take some of the edge off of her despair.” In hopes that Rasha’s healing could be speeded up, Lisa arranged a new series of 5 weekly remote healings from Malcolm, which he did.

On August 15, even before the last remote session, Lisa wrote: “Well, I am your biggest fan and such humble bows. Rasha has healed so quickly in the past 3 weeks that she was able to go outside and run with her herd for the first time since April 30. THREE MONTHS SOONER than all the veterinarians predicted. It’s miraculous for real!” “Much, much tearful gratitude.”

On August 26, we received this message from Lisa, along with two videos of Rasha running with her friends: “Rasha healed 3 months ahead of schedule. 3 Months!!!!!! Veterinarian in shock and awe. She is now back out running with a small herd In a small pasture until she builds her strength back to go out onto the big land. I cried the day she finally went back outside. She got injured April 30 and went out free first time August 14. It was supposed to take at least until October or November. Thank you! I’m going to try to attach the recordings of her first day outside Aug 14th. She is the black one. Warmest regards. And gratitude.”

We thank God–and of course thank Malcolm–for the healing of beautiful, spirited Rasha. Lisa did succeed in attaching the videos of Rasha. It was such a joy to see them that we wanted to share them with you. Malcolm says that he has a 70% success rate. Sometimes the healing is subtle and gradual. Occasionally there are the “miracles.”
