My name is Victor Fuhrman, and as many of you know, I have been elected to the Board of Directors for A.R.E. of NY. One of my responsibilities will be supervising our Program and Event-planning, and I am taking over coordinating content for the weekly e-newsletter. I am a volunteer in this position as are all members of the board. We consider this a spiritual calling and receive no financial compensation. We do have three part-time staffers who are paid for their efforts. Their compensation, as well as all of the expenses associated with program execution, the website, e-blasts, and social media, comes from the generosity of our donors. Thank you to those who donated during our Giving Tuesday and end of year fundraising drives.
We are grateful for your support. Unfortunately, those donations fell short of what we require to cover continuing expenses. To that end, we are creating a New Year Celebration Support Drive! In researching the donations made to Edgar Cayce during his amazing body of work, I found amounts ranging from two to fifty dollars. This may not seem like a lot, but considering this was in the 1930’s, these were extraordinarily generous. In several of the letters that accompanied these contributions were the words “value” and “gratitude.” This leads to two questions. What value do you receive from the work of this organization, and how may you express your gratitude? We are working diligently to bring you the programs and information, psychic services, and healing services that you have asked for.
