Edgar Cayce is considered by many to be the “Father of Holistic Medicine.” The body, mind, and spirit information for people that came through the readings also has implications for how we can best care for our pets. After over 25 years of studying the Cayce readings and many disciplines in holistic veterinary medicine, holistic veterinarian, author, and speaker, Dr. Doug Knueven has distilled his years of experience down to seven key ideas for caregivers who want their animal companions to live long, healthy lives. He will also share COVID information that every pet owner needs to know. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and grow, applying the Cayce Work and additional holistic principles with your four-legged friends.

Dr. Doug Knueven received his veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 1987 and has since earned certification and advanced training in many holistic therapies including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, chiropractic, and homeopathy. He is the medical director of Beaver Animal Clinic in Beaver, PA (near Pittsburgh).

Dr. Doug has practiced alternative veterinary medicine since 1995, and is a student of the Cayce readings, applying many of the concepts in his life. He speaks about holistic veterinary medicine nationally and internationally at veterinary conferences. He has written two books on the subject and has authored the “Holistic Animal Care” column for Venture Inward Magazine since 2007.
