Are you interested in discovering and developing your natural psychic skills? If so, join us from March 2024 through February 2025 for monthly “weekend immersions” into the world of the psychic.

In this year-long course, you will become an explorer of consciousness, the brain and its spiritual function as it applies to psychic states. You’ll learn many different tools and techniques used in psychic work.

Above all, you will gain plenty of experience through exercises and practice readings. As the course unfolds, you’ll be impressed and amazed as you unlock your psychic potential to reach higher levels of awareness and ability.

This program is an ideal, holistic way to develop your psychic abilities and receive certification directly from the Edgar Cayce Center of NYC. It consists of ten “psychic immersion weekends”—one per month—that will afford you the opportunity to discover and unfold your inherent psychic abilities, as well as share a learning and growing experience with other like-minded students.

Course Overview:

Each weekend will provide a wealth of information about a certain aspect or type of psychic practice, as well as an abundance of exercises that will allow students to put their newly learned skills into practice. You will receive 100 hours of live training, plus additional online practice.

Skill-Building Tasks (to be completed between meetings):

• Daily Practice (a skill-building daily practice will be given with each immersion)
• Complete 3 practice readings using the information covered in the immersion class before the next meeting.
• Journal entries for readings
• Attend Q & A session

BASIC ABILITIES OF ESP

Examine, experiment with, and learn how to develop the five abilities that make up the group called “psychic,” commonly known as ESP, or extrasensory perception. This group consists of:

• the soul senses: power to see, hear, feel, know things not delivered to us through physical senses
• telepathy: ability to “tune in” to the thoughts of others or to project thoughts to others
• pre/retro cognition: skill of looking into the future/past and seeing things before/after they occur
• telekinesis: ability to use the power of the mind to influence or move matter

THE PSYCHIC READING

Learn how to present psychic information in a way that can be easily followed and understood by the recipient. Focus on:

• developing a strong psychic connection with the client
• structuring a reading
• devices for determining point in time
• methods for answering questions
• control of the reading

Weekend 4 – June 8 & 9, 2024

DIVINATION – Part 1

Learn to access hidden knowledge through the interpretation of visions or symbols. Understand the difference between a sign, symbol, signal, omen and portent. Work with scrying, tea-leaf reading, and other devices to:

• learn to read symbols, real and abstract
• see a symbol as a living, changing thing
• discover how the conscious and subconscious are united in a symbol
• start your own symbol dictionary

JULY

Summer Break – No class

PSYCHOMETRY

Learn to “read” the history of an object, a place, or a person. Learn about:

• blending energies
• three types of psychometry
• the science behind the skill

RAISING VIBRATIONS

Raise your vibration from the physical/psychic world to enter into the higher realms of light. You will:

WORKING WITH DREAMS

Learn how to plan, influence, recall and understand dreams and the life messages that they carry. You will:

• create a dream ritual
• incubate and remember a dream
• find meaning and lessons in a dream

DIVINATION – Part 2

Learn new divination tools to sharpen your skills and elevate your reading style. You will be introduced to:

• numerology
• flame reading
• a third, student-chosen device

DECEMBER – Holiday Break

INDEPENDENT WORK

Each student will select a subject of his or her choice to work on during the month of December. The student will document his/her work and prepare a brief presentation for fellow students.

PSYCHIC INVESTIGATION

Learn how to put your psychic skills to use in the resolution of cold case crimes. You will leave this weekend with a clear understanding of the skills needed in this type of work. You will learn:

• reading techniques and skills used in this specialized type of work
• how to begin a portfolio of your work
• when and how to approach law enforcement agencies

Weekend 10 – February 22 & 23, 2025

STARTING A PRACTICE, ETHICS, AND PRESENTATION OF INDEPENDENT STUDY TOPICS

During this weekend we will discuss the ethics of psychic work, and share thoughts and ideas about starting your own psychic reading business.
We will also answer final questions and present individual study projects.

STUDENT ASSESSMENT READINGS & GRADUATION CEREMONY

2025 dates to be announced for certification testing and presentation of certificates.

You will receive 100 hours of live training, plus additional online practice. Each weekend will provide a wealth of information about a certain aspect or type of psychic practice, as well as an abundance of exercises that will allow students to put their newly learned skills into practice.

• Complete three practice readings using the information covered in the immersion class before the next meeting.

• Attend online Q & A, or guest sitter session
• Live monthly practice with classmates and past graduates of the course

Please note: The Psychic Skills Program is an experiential course. Each weekend builds upon the last. Regular attendance is necessary to receive the full benefits of the course, and also important to enable other students to enjoy the experience of exercise pairing.

The instructor must be notified in advance if a student must miss a class. In the case of absence, the class will be recorded (if all students give permission to record) and the recording will be available to the student who missed the class.

A student must attend eight full weekends in order to be eligible for testing.

The Psychic Skills Certification Program, developed and taught by Lin Hunter, is the first Certification Program offered by the A.R.E. of NY.. This new program is an ideal, holistic way to develop your psychic abilities, participate in student reading nights, and receive certification directly from the A.R.E. of NY. The Psychic Skills Certification Program has been offered with great success in New York for the past seven years. Lin Kay Hunter, Instructor

Lin has studied psychic development, mediumship, trance and healing in the US and the UK. She is the founder and director of The School for Psychic Studies in Western Massachusetts where she combines her background as an award-winning corporate trainer with her life-long interest in the supernatural to create and teach comprehensive classes in a variety of spiritual and metaphysical topics.

In 1990, her precognitive vision of a homicide scene drew Lin to explore the field of psychic investigation. In 2010, she became certified in forensic psychic investigation. She has also earned certificates in advanced-level remote viewing and forensic composite art. Lin has assisted law enforcement agencies, organizations, and families by providing sketches and key pieces of information that have been instrumental in pinpointing locations of interest and confirming suspects in numerous criminal investigations and missing person’s cases.
